The productionTimer app enables an iOS device to present a full-screen countdown clock on an external monitor. The video output is streamed directly from the device using the Apple Lightning to HDMI adapter. This signal can be directed to a nearby screen utilizing a standard HDMI cable, extended to greater distances via HDMI over Cat-5/5e/6 or fiber optics. Moreover, the signal can be integrated into a video switching system for distribution to various destinations. Through a switcher, users can overlay the countdown clock onto other graphic elements, facilitating efficient time management during breaks. For those opting for cable-free setups, an AirPlay destination like AppleTV can serve as the external monitor.

A "warning" feature triggers a change in the clock's background color at a designated time to alert individuals that it's time to wrap up or transition to another segment. Once the allocated time elapses, users can select any preferred color for the background.

Need to communicate with individuals on stage but lack the necessary infrastructure for displaying messages on confidence monitors? With productionTimer, operators can input brief messages that will be showcased on the remote clock display. The clock ascends to the top while presenting a clear message below it. A single button press restores the display back to its original format.
